Leanne Pero MBE is a multi- award- winning entrepreneur, speaker, author, mentor and breast cancer survivor.
After launching her community-focused dance company The Movement Factory aged just 15, Leanne went on to become the iconic dance studio Pineapple in 2014 and CEO for their charity Pineapple Community.
Leanne is also the founder of Black Women Rising, raising awareness and organising support for BAME female cancer patients and survivors. Leanne was made an MBE in the king’s birthday honours list June 2023.
Leanne’s credits include work for Nike, Estée Lauder, Kelly Holmes Education, The Rio Ferdinand Foundation, Pimlico Plumbers, Mr Delicious UK, Ed Tracey, Southbank Centre, The Media Trust, Houses of Parliament, Gordon Brown and she’s been featured in and on media outlets, such as The Telegraph, Sky News, BBC News, Lorraine Kelly, The Sun Newspaper, Channel 4 and The Guardian.
