Pien is the lead female commentator for both Sky Sports and ITV Sport, calling games in the Premier League, Carabao Cup, and WSL. She works on both men's and women's major tournaments and is recognised as one of the most exciting sports commentators and presenters in the UK, quickly becoming one of the industry's most recognisable and respected voices and faces.
For the 2024/25 season, Pien will host the new EFL Goal Zone on Sky Sports, part of their Soccer Saturday programming, airing every Saturday at midday.
At just 28, Pien is already making history as the youngest and first female commentator to call a live Premier League game on Sky Sports, a milestone achieved after her ITV debut at the Women’s World Cup in 2023. Born in the Netherlands, she is fluent in both Dutch and English and has experience broadcasting in both languages while working for Dutch media.
Having risen through the ranks at the BBC, Pien is now an established on-screen presenter with credits that include DAZN, PLP, IMG, BBC, MUTV, and CBS in America.
