Sir David Attenborough, Greta Thunberg and Extinction Rebellion have all played a part in getting Sustainability and Climate Change at the top of every agenda from the Boardroom to Government departments to individual homes.
Unsurprisingly events are picking up on these themes with speakers on Climate Change and Sustainability in particular demand. Some of our favouristes are below, who approach the subject from a variety of angles:
Benita Matofska founded the social enterprise The People Who Share. She talks about the Sharing Economy as a 21st Century phenomenon that has caused the biggest shift in society since the Industrial Revolution.
Leyla Acaroglu was the United Nations Environment Programme's 2016 Champion of the Earth. She is the founder of, Disrupt Design in New York and Eco-Innovators in Melbourne and given numerous workshops and keynotes on how disruptive design and innovation can instigate positive environmental change.
And finally, reporting from the frontline, the BBC’s Roger Harrabin has been at the forefront of Climate Change reporting for over 30 years, and can be credited for helping take it from a niche interest to national prominance.
