As England is set to exit Lockdown with clearer plans regarding ongoing restrictions moving forwards - plus with the hope for a vaccine in the near future - there is a palpable sense of optimism in the industry. For many, virtual events will remain for a while longer. We of course focus on helping our clients to provide the most compelling content, however audiences also need to be educated on how to make the best of it. Luke Broadhurst of Shard Media wrote a brilliant blog on LinkedIn discussing how to make the most of a virtual event - key take away for us was to block out time in the diary, as you would a physical event, and switching off other distractions, so you can commit fully.
