Dave first came to prominence on the hit Channel 4 Show “Bank of Dave” where they followed him trying to set up the first new UK bank in 150 years. He’s gone on to present a whole range of consumer programmes, and been involved in numerous businesses, while Bank of Dave (or rather Burnley Savings and Loans as they’re officially known) is still going strong. He’s even become an unlikely TikTok star through videos based on him flying various planes and helicopters (many of which he owns…not bad for a lad who left school at 16 with no qualifications!).
His amazing story has been turned into a film on Netflix, with Rory Kinnear playing Dave and even featuring a performance from Def Leppard! As ever, Dave’s available for speaking engagements, and renowned for his down to earth advise, and easy going manner….Burnley’s favourite son has certainly done well for himself, but he’s not let it go to his head!
