While we’re naturally inclined to look forwards not back, as the year draws to a close we thought we would have a little reflection on some of the highlights of the year.
From a keynote perspective, Professor Hannah Fry has become a popular choice for AI related briefs, while stalwart motivational speaker, Bear Grylls continues to delight audiences. This year we put a slightly different spin on his presentation, having him interviewed by the legendary, Sir Trevor McDonald.
Early on in the year, we were delighted to meet Tijana Tamburic, a former model and founder of Female Narratives, a communication agency. Not only has she gone on to do speeches for us, we even supplied the amazing Sharon Wanjobi for her own anniversary party.
Awards ceremonies account for roughly half of our business, and while the usual comedic suspects oversaw many a ceremony, a number of clients mixed it up a bit. Naga Munchetty oversaw a number of events, and at a recent one interviewed the renowned actor David Harewood. Meanwhile, we were delighted to see Matt Lucas back at an event, delighting an audience of over 1800.
Finally, music continues to be a mainstay for us. Iconic 80s acts, Chesney Hawkes and Roland Gift provided a double bill for a client back in the spring, while Sophie Ellis Bextor was the toast of the Royal Albert Hall in the summer. And it’s not only Rock n Roll, (though we like it…), with uber DJ Joel Corry performing a stand out set earlier in the Autumn.
